Triple Bogey Tour 2024

Triple Bogey Tour is a series of three tournaments with a slightly different concept compared to the usual tournaments we've been organizing for the past 10 years. In these three tournaments, the emphasis will be on easier layout, a more relaxed approach to competition, and organizined side events and activities.

All three legs of the Triple Bogey Tour 2024 will be held exclusively in PDGA color categories open to both genders, as follows:
- Purple (rating up to 800)
- Green (rating up to 850)
- Red (rating up to 900)
- Gold (all players with ratings above 900)
Although there are two more categories, White (rating up to 935) and Blue (rating up to 970), due to the expected smaller number of players with ratings above 900 in this year's tournaments, we did not offer those categories. Therefore, all players with ratings above 900 will compete in the highest Gold category.

A player who was eligible to participate in a certain category in the first leg of the tour (e.g., someone with a rating of 846 sufficient for Green) can participate in that same category in all three legs of the tour, even if their rating exceeds the category limit in the meantime.

Additionally, each player can play in a higher rating category if they choose to do so (e.g., a player with a rating of 730 can play Purple, but also any other category, etc.)
On the other hand, a player with a rating, for example, 870, cannot play Purple or Green, only Red or Gold.

Players who are not PDGA members and do not have a rating can only play in the Purple category if they have not played PDGA tournaments before, or if they have played PDGA tournaments and the average of their last 6 played rounds does not exceed 800 rating points. If their rounds are worth more than 800 points, then they can play in the Green, Red, or MPO/FPO category. A player without a rating, but whose last 6 rounds are worth more than 850 rating points, cannot play in the Green category but can play in the Red or MPO/FPO category.

For the Green, Red, and Gold categories, €5 from each entry fee is allocated to the prize pool of the category, and after the last leg, the top 25% of players in each category will receive cash prizes (or equivalent value in goods) according to the distribution table.
In the Purple category (where the entry fee is lower), there will be no distribution of prizes for the top 25% of players, only the top 5 participants in the overall ranking will receive prizes.

The Triple Bogey Tour consists of 3 tournaments played according to the following schedule:
1st leg - Spring Forester, Varaždin, Croatia - SUNDAY, May 19th - info & registration
2nd leg - Ringin' RakiChains, Rakičan, Murska sobota, Slovenia - SATURDAY, June 15th - info & registration
3rd leg - Blooming Hills, Toplice Sveti Martin, Croatia, SATURDAY, August 10th - info & registration

Overall Tour Standings For the overall standings, each player earns points based on their placement in each competition, with 1 point awarded for first place, 2 points for second place, and so on. Players with fewer points are ranked higher, and the theoretical best result of the entire tour is 3 points, for a player who wins all three tournaments in their category. All players who do not participate in one of the competitions will receive automatic points, equal to the number of players who competed in their category (including players who did not finish the tournament but started playing in the first round), plus 3 additional places. For example, if there were 7 players in the tournament, the player who did not participate will receive 10 automatic points.
