The Zagreb Disc Golf Open tournament will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at the Riverside Golf Course. The competition is organized by the Flying Disc Club Zagreb and the Croatian Flying Disc Federation, with Lagoda Ltd. as a partner.
The tournament is part of the Croatian Disc Golf League 2025 season (6th round), but it is also open to all other players from Croatia and abroad.

Registration
Competition divisions are MPO, FPO, Red, Green and Purple.
The entry fee is €20 and includes tournament organization (green fee and basket rental), PDGA fee, Croatian Flying Disc Federation fee, and prizes for top players.

Players who are not PDGA members and have no rating can play in the Purple division only if they have not previously played a PDGA event. If they have, their last 6 rated rounds must average below 800.
If their rounds are rated higher than 800, they must register in Green, Red or MPO / FPO divisions.
Tournament results and live scoring will be published on the PDGA event page.
Results will be entered into the PDGA live scorecard system.
Schedule
The tournament starts with practice rounds on Saturday from 13:30, and ends with the awards ceremony on Sunday at around 16:30 (exact time depends on when the second round finishes).

Competition Format
The tournament will be played in the following format:

Course
The tournament will be played on a temporary disc golf course set up on the ball golf layout.
The course will use temporary DiscGolfPark targets, and all tees will be covered with artificial turf mats.
During the event, the golf course will remain fully operational, so specific course behavior rules apply during practice and tournament play:
- Do not damage the turf, throw cigarette butts or litter
- Use restrooms only – two are available on the course
- Do not run across any ball golf greens (all are OB)
- Rake sand bunkers after walking through them (all are OB)
The course will be ready for practice no earlier than 13:30 on Saturday. There might be a slight delay depending on setup speed.
On Saturday, the course will be open to ball golfers, so please be mindful during practice not to interfere with them. On Sunday, the golf course will be closed for ball golf play.

Additional Information
Communication
A WhatsApp group will be created for communication with participants. The link will be sent by email.
Joining the group is not mandatory, but all updates (schedule changes, group lists, etc.) will be shared there. Participants can also use it to report being late, lost items, or other issues.
Weather
You can follow the weather forecast for Zagreb on Yr.no. In case of bad weather, check the lightning radar or rain radar.
Food
Players are responsible for their own food and drinks.
Parking
Parking is available at the Riverside Golf Course (Google Maps).
Parking is free.
Restrooms
Players can use locker rooms and restrooms in the clubhouse, as well as an additional toilet near hole 10.
Photos
All photos taken during the tournament will be uploaded daily to a Google Photos album, available for download and sharing on social media.
