Format of Play
The competition will be played in the following format:
| Round | Group formation |
|---|---|
| 1 | Groups will be formed with mixed divisions and strength pools based on PDGA rating. We will try to avoid placing players from the same clubs / countries in the same groups in Round 1, so that during the round they can socialise with players they do not see regularly. |
| 2 | Groups formed by score, with no mixing of divisions |
Course
The 14-hole layout is set on the golf course and in the surrounding woods, combining shorter technical wooded holes with open holes.
Temporary Disc Golf Park targets will be used for play.
Teeing areas on all holes will be set up with artificial turf mats.
The layout has been uploaded to the UDisc app as Frosty Hills 14-hole layout, which you can use for practice rounds.
You can download the course map as a PDF from this page.
On Hole 8, a special rule approved by the PDGA will be used.
The current course record for men is 42 (-4), set by Blaž Perovič (rating 991) and Niklas Schaffer (rating 988) at the 2024 tournament.
The course record for women is 50 (+5, rating 900), played by Tina Šimenc at the 2025 tournament.

Other information
Communication with participants
A WhatsApp group will be opened for communication with participants, and they will receive the link by email.
Joining the WhatsApp group is not mandatory, but during the tournament all announcements (schedule changes, groups for Round 1 and Round 2, etc.) will be communicated exclusively through that group.
Through this group, participants can also let us know if they are running late for the players’ meeting (so they do not have to come to the Golf House in person), report the result of the CTP contest, notify us if they lost something or found something on the course, etc.
Tournament centre
A tournament centre will be set up on the ground floor of the Golf House (at Tee 1 / Basket 14), where the players’ meeting will be held, players can gather before and after rounds, and the award ceremony will take place.
At the tournament centre, participants can buy cold and hot drinks (beer, radler, energy drink, juice, water, tea, coffee) as well as sweet snacks (e.g. Snickers).
Weather
You can follow the weather forecast for Toplice Sveti Martin on the Yr.no website. In case of bad weather, you can also monitor the lightning radar or the precipitation radar.
As part of the course is located in old forest, in case strong winds are forecast (over 10 m/s), the tournament may be postponed (or moved to another location) for the safety of the competitors.
Food
Participants will be offered an option to pre-order lunch for Saturday. The exact menu and prices will be available later.
Parking
If you arrive by car, you can park near the Golf House (Google Maps). Please note that Basket 14 is nearby and there is a risk that discs may hit vehicles parked right next to the stairs leading to the Golf House.
The recommended parking is the hotel Terme parking lot, 250 m away (Google Maps).
Parking at both locations is free of charge.
Toilets
There is a toilet in the tournament centre that competitors can use. Due to a broken toilet at the most recent tournaments, only one toilet was in use for both men’s and women’s players. Additional toilets are located in the lobby of Hotel Terme (250 m from the Golf House).
Additionally, you may use the toilet inside the hotel (side entrance from the forest / Hole 1 side).
Photos
All photos taken at the tournament will be added at the end of each day to the Google Photos Album, and you can download them and use them on social media.

Side events
Ace Pool
Any player who wishes to participate may pay €1 in cash, which will be placed into a separate cash box. A player who wants to participate in the Ace Pool must pay €1 before the start of Round 1. If a player scores an ace but did not pay into the Ace Pool before the start of Round 1, they are not eligible for the prize.
A player who scores an ace at the tournament becomes the winner of the entire Ace Pool prize fund. If two or more players score an ace at the same tournament, they share the Ace Pool.
If no player scores an ace, the Ace Pool carries over to the next Lagoda tournament, up to a maximum carryover of €100, and continues to carry over until the Ace Pool is won at a tournament.
If the carried-over Ace Pool amount exceeds €100, any amount above €100 will be separated from the Ace Pool and allocated to a fund for course improvements and support for disc golf development.
This cash box is used at all tournaments organised by Lagoda Disc Golf, and before the Frosty Hills tournament the Ace Pool amount is €63.
