Drava Forester is a three-day tournament taking place in Varaždin, Croatia, from Friday, 30 October to Sunday, 1 November 2026. This international disc golf event is organised by Lagoda Disc Golf and travel agency Vall Tours, with the support of the City of Varaždin.
The competition will be played over three days, with three rounds of 18 holes.
This will be the 14th edition of Drava Forester, which has been held regularly since its first edition in 2012. The 13th Drava Forester in 2025 welcomed 61 competitors from Austria, Finland, Croatia, Germany, Slovenia, Serbia, Switzerland and Great Britain. Around 80 players from approximately ten countries are expected in 2026.

Registration
The tournament will be held in the following divisions, with the following participation conditions:

The number of participants is limited to 82.
There is no need to pay the entry fee before 1 October 2026.

If you are unable to pay in advance, cash payment at the tournament will also be possible.

Scores will be entered using PDGA Live scoring.
Entry fees and tournament packages
The basic entry fee is 25 €. Players may enter with the basic fee only, or choose one of the additional packages: BASIC (75 €) or FULL (140 €). These are total prices per player, not supplements to the basic entry fee.
Accompanying guests may also join side activities, subject to the conditions of each activity.
Playing one or two rounds: Players who only wish to play one round (€10) or two rounds (€15), without participating in the other side activities, may enter the Whitedivision. This option does not include the activities and benefits of the basic entry fee or tournament packages.

Drava Forester begins on Wednesday, 28 October, with players gathering for a welcome dinner and ends on Sunday, 1 November, with the awards ceremony and an optional evening programme.

Official accommodation
The official accommodation options for the 2026 tournament are Park Boutique Hotel and Pansion Maltar.
We recommend staying at Park Boutique Hotel, where some of the tournament’s side activities will take place. Transport to the course may be arranged from the hotel if there is sufficient interest and demand. We have reserved all 20 hotel rooms for the event, so the hotel will host only disc golfers if all rooms are booked by tournament participants.

Competition format and group assignments
The competition will use the following grouping format:

Course
The 18-hole course combines open areas along the Drava River with wooded sections. It is a temporary layout that may change slightly from year to year depending on conditions in the forest.
All teeing areas have artificial turf mats, and the course uses Disc Golf Park baskets (2022 model). The 2026 layout is expected to be very similar to those used in 2024 and 2025.

Other information
Communication with participants
A WhatsApp group is available for participants; the invitation link is sent by email. Joining is optional, but tournament updates, schedule changes and round group assignments will be shared there. The group can also be used for check-in, reporting delays and lost-and-found messages.
Weather
You can check the weather forecast on Yr.no, lightning radar i precipitation radar. If winds stronger than 10 m/s are forecast, the layout may be modified to use open-area holes only for safety reasons.
Parking
Free parking is available at Arena Varaždin.
Toilets
The Tournament Centre is located inside the Arena, with toilets available in at least two locations.
