Jingle Hills 2025

Jingle Hills is a two-day tournament that will be played over the weekend of December 6–7 in Toplice Sveti Martin. The tournament will also be the 8th and final round of the Croatian Disc Golf League in the 2025 season.
This event offers all participants the opportunity to combine a competition on the course where the 2018 European Championship was played with a relaxing stay at the Terme Sveti Martin resort.

This will be the sixth edition of the tournament; you can read more about previous editions at the bottom of the page. At the most recent 5th edition, 46 players participated, coming from Austria, Croatia, Hungary, Serbia, and Slovenia.

Play

The competition will take place in the following format:

RoundGroup formation
1

Groups will be formed with mixed categories and strength pools determined by PDGA rating.

We will make an effort not to place players from the same clubs/countries in the same groups in round 1, so that during play they can socialize with players they don’t see regularly.

2 Groups formed by score, mixed categories according to the layout they play
3 Groups formed by score, without mixing categories

Course

The 18-hole course is set on the golf course and the surrounding woods, combining shorter, technical forest holes with open ones.
Temporary Disc Golf Park targets are used for play.
All tee pads are covered with artificial turf mats.

The course map will be available on this page before the start of the tournament. You can currently download the course map from the 2024 tournament.
Only minor changes are planned for 2025, driven by on-course changes (fallen trees) or PDGA rule updates.

The current records are 48 (-10) for men, played by Stanislaus Amann (rating 1036) twice at the 2023 tournament, and 60 (+2) for women, played by Andreja Bernjak (rating 919) at the 2023 tournament. (Course records have not been updated after the 2023 tournament – will be updated later)

Other information

Communication with participants
Weather
You can follow the weather forecast for Toplice Sveti Martin on the Yr.no website. In case of bad weather, you can also monitor the lightning radar or the precipitation radar.
Since part of the course is located in an old forest, if strong winds are forecast (stronger than 10 m/s), the competition may be postponed (or moved to another location) for the safety of players.

Food
Participants will be offered the option to pre-order lunch on Saturday. The exact menu and prices will be available later.

Parking
If you are coming by car, you can park near the Golf House (Google Maps). Please note that basket 18 is nearby and there is a risk that discs may hit vehicles parked directly next to the stairs leading to the Golf House.
The recommended parking is 250m away next to the Terme Hotel (Google Maps).
Parking at both locations is free.

Toilets
There is a toilet in the Golf House. Additionally, the toilet in the hotel can also be used (side entrance from the forest / hole 1 side).

All photos taken during the tournament will be uploaded at the end of each day to a Google Photos Album, and you can download and use them for social media.

Side Events

Ace Pool
All players who wish can pay €1 in cash, which goes into a special pot.
A player who scores an ace during the tournament wins the entire Ace Pool. If two or more players hit an ace, they share the pool. If no one hits an ace, the pool carries over to the next Lagoda tournament, and so on, until it is won.
A player must pay into the Ace Pool before the first round starts. If a player hits an ace without having paid into the pool, they are not entitled to the prize.
This fund is collected at all Lagoda Disc Golf tournaments, but since an ace was hit at the last event, the pot currently stands at €0.

CTP – Closest to the Pin
The CTP contest runs through all three rounds on two holes, and the winner is the player whose disc comes to rest closest to the basket.
A measuring tape will be placed next to the basket, and players can measure the distance from the pole to the disc.
For the result to be valid, the distance must be less than 3m, and the player must report it in the official tournament WhatsApp group.
In each round, the best result on the two CTP holes qualifies for the CTP final. This way, 6 players qualify for the final.
If a player wins CTP more than once, they enter the final with as many discs/throws as times they won.

The CTP final will take place on Sunday after round 3, with 6 players each throwing two discs toward the basket from the Golf House terrace.
The top 3 advance to round two and throw two more discs.
The best result in the second round wins the CTP contest.

Overachiever
This award goes to the player who plays the tournament with the highest average above their rating (based on current PDGA ratings).
All players with a PDGA number and active membership and at least 20 rated rounds are eligible.

Prizes and Tournament Respect Raffle
The raffle will be held at the end of the tournament, after the awards ceremony in all categories. The usual grand prize is a disc golf backpack.

To be eligible to claim a raffle prize, a player must:
1. Be present at the players meeting (when your name is read at the start of the meeting, you must be there)
2. Pay the tournament fee in advance or during the tournament (no later than before the awards ceremony)
3. Play all rounds scheduled for your category
4. Check in on time (mandatory check-in) if indicated in the tournament schedule
5. Be present at the awards ceremony

If a player is drawn in the raffle but has not met all requirements, they cannot claim the prize and the next player will be drawn.

The same player cannot win the raffle at two consecutive tournaments.
