Disc golf course Terra Malvasia

On Sunday, March 17th, 2024, the first disc golf course in Istria - Terra Malvasia, was ceremonially opened!

The course is located at the Vina Juričić winery in the village of Bartići, just a few minutes drive from Labin, and consists of 9 holes designed for beginners and recreational play, but also featuring technical characteristics, making the game interesting for more experienced players as well.

This event was marked by the Terra Malvasia Trophy Disc Golf Tournament, which saw the participation of 24 players from Croatia, Slovenia, and Hungary. Tournament results can be found on the PDGA website. Players competed in two rounds of 18 holes each, with each round consisting of two sets of 9 holes.

The development of this course was made possible thanks to the support of the Croatian Tourist Board and destination management companies, with collaboration from the Tourist Agency Atlas-Rabac, OPG Vinarija Juričić, and Lagoda Disc Golf.

The opening of the course marks an important step forward for disc golf in the region, and it is expected that Terra Malvasia will become a favorite destination for enthusiasts of this sport.
