Lagoda Disc Golf and its sister agency Vall Tours are recognized as the leading disc golf tournament organizers in Croatia and the region. With years of experience and passion for the sport, Lagoda ensures top-level organization of every event. Our tournaments are known for their professional approach, friendly atmosphere, and innovative concepts that attract players from all over the world. Since 2012, we have organized over a hundred tournaments, including prestigious EuroTour Pro Forester events, the 2018 European Championships, and the 2022 WFDF World Team Championships. This competition brings a unique game format that emphasizes teamwork, strategy, and cooperation, making disc golf more dynamic and fun. Teams of four compete, with each player contributing to the team’s success with their skills and tactical decisions. Unlike individual competitions, teams decide who will take the tee shot on each hole, strategically using the strengths of their members. The course offers a unique playing experience on 16 carefully designed holes tailored to the competition format, focusing on par 4 holes, with several challenging par 3 and par 5 layouts. Each hole provides technical challenges and tactical opportunities, allowing players to showcase their skills and enjoy dynamic play. The Varaždin course has a rich history and prestige on the international disc golf scene. The city has hosted numerous elite tournaments such as Drava Forester, Euro Tour Pro Forester, and the 2022 WFDF World Team Championships. One of the conditions for team registration is that the average PDGA rating of all members does not exceed 888, which ensures greater competitiveness and wider inclusion of disc golfers regardless of their previous experience. Arrival
Varaždin is located in northern Croatia, near the borders with Slovenia and Hungary. The city is well connected and easy to reach.
How to get to Varaždin?
- By car: Varaždin is easily accessible by road from all directions. It is 85 km (about 1 hour) from Zagreb, 95 km (about 1 hour 20 minutes) from Graz, 170 km (about 2 hours) from Ljubljana, and 220 km (about 2 hours 30 minutes) from Vienna. From Budapest, it takes about 3 hours 30 minutes (260 km).
- By public transport: Varaždin has well-organized bus and train connections with major cities in Croatia and the region. Regular lines connect the city with Zagreb, Maribor, and Ljubljana.
- By plane: The nearest airports are Zagreb (85 km), Graz (95 km), Maribor (60 km), and Ljubljana (170 km), from where you can reach Varaždin by car or organized transfer.

Rules
A team consists of four players, and the condition is that the average PDGA rating of all team members must not exceed 888, meaning the total sum of their PDGA ratings can be a maximum of 3,552.
The valid PDGA rating of team members on the day of registration will be used. If, after registration, the team members’ ratings increase in the rating update on May 13 or earlier, the registration is no longer valid and the team must re-register with changed members and a total rating of up to 3,552.
If the team members’ ratings increase in the rating updates in June, July, or August, the team will still be able to participate in the tournament.

Registration opens on January 16, 2025, and participants can secure their spot immediately, but entry fee payment is not required before August 1, 2025, at which time all registered participants will be notified via email.
