The Croatian Flying Disc Federation will organise the following national disc golf championships in 2026 – senior singles, senior championship for men’s and women’s doubles, senior championship for mixed doubles, junior singles, and masters singles.
As it is the wish and hope of the Federation that as many female and male players as possible participate in the official categories of the senior singles championship, this competition will be held in a separate term, and the junior and masters championships will no longer be held alongside it.
The 14th Croatian Disc Golf Championship (senior singles) will be held on July 4 and 5, 2026 in Sveti Martin na Muri, organised by the Croatian Flying Disc Federation, with Disc Golf Club Lagoda and Lagoda j.d.o.o. as the executive organisers.
The championship will be played as a two-day competition consisting of three rounds on 18 holes and a final round on 9 holes.

Registration
To participate in the National Disc Golf Championship, players must:
- be of Croatian nationality
- be members of one of the clubs affiliated with the Croatian Flying Disc Federation
- have a certificate issued by a sports medicine physician confirming fitness to participate in sports competition, not older than 6 months.
| Category | Additional information | Awards for | Entry Fee |
|---|---|---|---|
| MPO | Official championship category – men | Medals and prizes for Top 3 | 25 € |
| FPO | Official championship category – women | Medals and prizes for Top 3 | 25 € |
| Gold | Men, outside official competition (without medical certificate, players from abroad) | Prizes for winners | 35 € |
| White | Women, outside official competition (without medical certificate, players from abroad) | Prizes for winners | 35 € |
The number of participants is limited to 72.
For new and recreational players, for players who do not provide a sports medicine certificate, and for foreign players, it is possible to participate outside the official category in Gold for men and White for women.
In the recreational categories, medals are not awarded and national champions are not declared; only category winners will be announced, and prizes will be distributed depending on the number of registered doubles teams.
As it is the Federation’s wish that as many participants as possible compete in the official categories (MPO and FPO), which require a sports medical examination (and involve certain financial costs), the entry fee for these categories is reduced compared to the unofficial championship categories.
The entry fee should be paid to the bank account of the co-organiser prior to the competition: Lagoda j.d.o.o., Varaždin, HR6323400091110550349
Exceptionally, if the entry fee is not paid in advance, payment will also be possible in cash at the championship.
Competition results and live scoring will be published on the PDGA website.
Scores will be entered into the PDGA Live Scorecard system.
Schedule
The championship begins with a practice round on Friday 3 July and concludes with the winners ceremony on Sunday 5 July, planned for 15:30.
In case of very high temperatures during the championship, the schedule may be adjusted so that play takes place during more favourable conditions (e.g. Round 1 at 9:00, Round 2 at 17:00).
The tournament schedule is as follows:

Format of Play
The competition will be conducted in a format where groups are formed exclusively from players of the same category from the first round until the end of the championship.
Mixing of categories will be avoided as much as possible, except in cases where this is not feasible (e.g. a category with only 1 or 2 players, etc.).
The Final Round will be played by the top 5 players in the MPO category and the top 4 players in the FPO category.
The Final Round will be played over 9 holes, and the final layout will be announced before the start of the championship.
The Gold and White categories will not play a Final Round.
Course
The 18-hole course is set on a golf course and in the surrounding woods, combining shorter technical wooded holes with open fairways.
Temporary Disc Golf Park targets will be used for play.
All tee pads will be covered with artificial turf.
There is a possibility that one hole (hole 2) may not be perfectly mowed, as that part of the land is not owned by the resort (and this has been the case for years), but all other holes should be in excellent condition.
Two course layouts will be prepared: the long orange layout for MPO and Gold categories, and the shorter blue layout for FPO and White categories.

The orange (long) layout has been played at several individual tournaments so far. The current course records are 48 (-10) in the men’s division, achieved by Stanislaus Amann (rating 1036) twice at the 2023 tournament, and 60 (+2) in the women’s division, achieved by Andreja Bernjak (rating 919) at the 2023 tournament.
The course record for the short (blue) layout is -6 (51, rating 950) in the men’s division, achieved by Nino Krvavica, and -3 (54, rating 914) in the women’s division, achieved by Barbara Poljšak. This layout was used for Spa Hills 2024 and 2025.

Other Information
Communication with Participants
A WhatsApp group will be created for communication with participants, which they can join via a link sent by email.
Joining the WhatsApp group is not mandatory; however, during the tournament all official announcements (schedule changes, groups for each round, etc.) will be communicated exclusively through this group.
Through the group, participants may inform the organisers if they are running late for the players meeting, complete the mandatory check-in on Sunday before Round 3 (without having to come in person to the Golf House), report lost or found items on the course, etc.
Weather
The weather forecast for Sveti Martin na Muri can be followed on the Yr.no website. In case of bad weather, you may also follow the lightning radar or the precipitation radar.
As part of the course is located in an old forest, in case of strong forecasted winds (stronger than 10 m/s), there is a possibility that, for safety reasons, a modified layout using only open holes will be played.
Food
Tournament participants will have the option to pre-order lunch for Saturday. The exact menu and prices will be announced later.
Parking
If you are arriving by car, you may park near the Golf House (Google Maps). Please note that basket 18 is nearby and there is a risk that discs may hit vehicles parked directly next to the stairs leading to the Golf House.
The recommended parking area is 250 m away next to Hotel Terme (Google Maps).
Parking at both locations is free of charge.
Toilets
A toilet is available inside the Golf House. Additionally, toilets in the hotel (side entrance from the forest / hole 1 side) may also be used.

Side Events
Ace Pool
All players who wish to participate may pay €1 in cash, which will be placed in a dedicated box. A player must pay the €1 before the start of the first round to be eligible for the Ace Pool. If a player hits an ace but did not pay into the Ace Pool before the first round, they are not entitled to the prize.
The player who hits an ace during the tournament wins the entire Ace Pool prize fund. If two or more players hit an ace at the same tournament, they will share the Ace Pool.
If no player hits an ace, the Ace Pool carries over to the next Lagoda tournament, up to a maximum of €100, and continues in this way until it is paid out at a tournament.
If the carried-over Ace Pool exceeds €100, any amount above €100 will be transferred from the Ace Pool into a fund for course improvement and the development of disc golf.
This fund is collected at all tournaments organised by Lagoda Disc Golf, and the current amount will be announced before the tournament.
