Jingle Hills will be a two-day disc golf tournament that will be played on Saturday and Sunday, December 3 and 4, through three rounds of 18 holes on the Spa Hills Disc Golf course in Toplice Sveti Martin. The tournament is PDGA tier-C sanctioned event, and at the same time the 11th round of the Croatian Disc Golf League 2022. This competition offers all participants the opportunity to combine competition on the course where the 2018 European Championship was played with a vacation at the Terme Sveti Martin resort.
This will be the third edition of the tournament. Jingle Hills was played for the first time on December 7 and 8, 2019, when one of the best players in the world participated in it - multiple world champion Paige Pierce, and a total of 35 players from Austria, England, Hungary, Croatia, USA and Canada.
After the Covid break in 2020, the tournament was played for the second time on December 4 and 5, 2021, with the participation of 39 players from Austria, Croatia and Slovenia.
The event will be played in the following categories:
MPO (open to male and female players), FPO (open female), Green (players of both genders PDGA rated up to 850) and Purple (players of both genders PDGA rated up to 800).
The number of participants is limited to 72, meaning that the competition will be played in a maximum of 18 groups of 4 players.
The registration fee for the MPO, FPO and Green categories is HRK 160 / €21.5, and the registration fee for the Purple category is HRK 75 / €10.
Players who are not PDGA members and do not have a rating can play the Purple category only if they have not played PDGA tournaments so far, or they have played PDGA tournaments and their last 6 rounds are not worth more than 800 rating points on average. If those rounds are worth more than 800 then they can play Green or MPO / FPO category.
The registration fee includes the organization of the tournament, a fee to the Terme Sveti Martin for the use of the course, a fee to the Croatian Flying Disc Association, a small souvenir for each player and prizes for the best players in each category (the value of the prizes depends on the number of participants in each category and the amount of registration fees paid).
